I like the Redline brackets better then Ford Performance, however the Ford Performance hood strut pistons have a larger diameter. With that said, if I were to purchase another set I would look at Roush hood struts. I put the Ford Performance struts on 19 Bllt2 with no issues. Nice engraving on the covers.

 

Some combine the Redline mounts with the FP struts.
For me FP without the Redline mounts works like a charm.

 

I put the ford performance on my 2019 Bullitt and the hood with no longer close flush. The fender brackets are poorly designed and do not secure well.

 

Sound to me like you did something not like intended.
Are the dampers the right way round? Cartridge-side on the hood, rod-side on the fender?

Btw., the instructions that come with the parts here in Germany, specifies an incorrect torque for the nuts on the hood, which has caused for some the bolt to be torn off!
Vehicles from 2018 (all S550 Bullitts) may only have 12 Nm instead of the 23 Nm in the instructions.

 

Installed correctly, but the fender mounts were problematic to adjust and pinched the wiper fluid line. I took it to the ford dealer and they returned the parts as defective.

For me, this indicates a case of assembly error.
The Redline fender mounts are better, as mentioned.

That's how it looks in my Bullitt, no problem with the hose. I open the hood regularly to connect and disconnect the battery tender.
