i don't know if this is the proper place for this post. if it's wrong mods please move it.

Silverhorse Racing flush mount 1/4 louvers are SOLD OUT. as of now they DON'T PLAN ON MAKING ANOTHER BATCH and might be unavailable forever.
i am reading onS197 forum they convinced someone to look into making another run of them.
IF they get 200 pre paid orders between now and march 30th they will make another run of them so i am spreading the word.
they aren't reuseable so if you have to remove them you will be up the creek without a paddle.
i myself think they look fantastic on our cars and currently have a set installed on my car. i will place a order for several sets just in case i need them in the future.

if you like them and think you might need more PRE-ORDER NOW. because they might be gone forever.
also if you like them post a similar thread in any place someone might be hiding that wants a set so we can hit the 200 mark.

Wow, that sucks. Got a pair on my Bullitt now but was thinking of ordering a new pair. After nine years, the paint starting flaking off so I had this company paint them and they painted over the clear panels that you are supposed to see through...anyway, I will sign up for another pair.

good to hear someone else is interested.
in my opinion they will hit 200 pre paid orders early.

just to keep in mind if you order there is NO guarantee they will make them. and if they do make them, you probably won't see then until fall of NEXT year.

better spread the word on other forums. don't know you would get 200 just on here.

I’ve been looking for weeks now to get a set for my 01’. No luck. I’m guessing they don’t have a set or two of those laying around for purchase do they? I’d be more than happy to preorder a set of those. I wish the fit for the years was interchangeable.

The Final Run!!!

I just talked to SHR this morning, and they are making one last run of them.

THIS IS THE FINAL RUN!!! They will be ready to ship by the end of August or early September. Get them While you can!

The BULLITT I just bought already had a set installed. I pre-ordered two sets in case I ever need them.

Here's an update from SHR 0n 08-30-2019:

"Quick update on our louver run for the 05-09 Mustang owners out there on our preorder list - material has arrived!!

With the material and bulk packaging (as well as final packaging) now here on-site, we are just awaiting available time on the 300 ton injection molding press we use to make these pieces to be able to make the run. Given the impending hurricane, our schedule is a bit uncertain at this moment, but as long as no major damage / power outages are sustained that take us offline for more than a day or so, we are looking at approximately 3 weeks until we have pieces ready to start shipping!

Stay tuned, and we'll have more updates as they become available."

Here's a quick email update I received:

"We’re in production of the flush-mount louvers now, and expect to wrap up over the next couple of weeks.

We are offering our pre-order customers the option to have them painted by the same painter that did them for us for over 12 years. The cost for painting is $225.00, and it will add about 6-8 weeks to the delivery time."

I talked to Marcello Canitano on September 18, and they were done pressing them. IIRC, SHR had to make 500 sets, because the press company set the minimum for setup/press time. I have two sets ordered and will be prepainted. I should be receiving them by Thanksgiving.

Thanks for the information on this. Do you have a photo of the unpainted parts?

I had mine painted PX by SHR and received them early this year(February?). I have to say they look awesome!

I need to replace the ones that were on the car when I bought it, because whoever painted them sprayed the coats too heavy which gives them a slightly crackled and uneven finish..
